After moving to Sweden in 2022 from the US, I began working with life science suppliers (CDMOs, instrument companies, and other vendors) as a copywriter. I quickly found success in explaining the benefits of complex products like spray dryers or cell separators.
After having previously spent 4 years in the consumer healthcare space, I realized that B2B is more just… well, me. Beyond that, I always enjoyed learning about medical topics, but selling the technologies that improve healthcare felt important to me.
The B2B space is one where customers think deeply before making a decision. Sales cycles are long and the role of marketing and communication is lasting, rather than being short-lived, as for many B2C products. It’s why I enjoy it—I find fulfillment in taking the time to thoroughly evaluate ideas, experiment, and develop a clearer understanding of why things happen the way they do.
As an extroverted introvert and a self-starter, corralling diverse perspectives and figuring out a plan of action comes naturally. With an MSc in the biomedical sciences, I understand the jargon in this industry. I received further executive training at IMD in digital transformation and marketing. In my free time, I’m playing table tennis, hanging out with my family, and trying to learn vibe coding.
